speedo is out!!!

My speedo just went out today...actually it comes on for a few seconds but then disactivates. So my v-tech is affected aswell, i don't get the boost at any rpms... i have even redlined and no v-tech...it sucks...the little boost i had is now gone...any one with any ideas:confused:

check the speed sensor. look for any cut wires or anything that is broken. also check behind the gauges and see if any of the harnesses behind there are messed up.

There should be one or two bundles of wires going into the transmition check to make sure there both plugged in. There both not in the same spot so check all over the trans to make sure you find them

you should check your vtec solenoid if u still havent figured it out

vtec solenoid not working will cause your speedo to stop working?

I checked for burnt wires or something that llooked odd, i thook it apart checked the valve, and i had no visual problems. How could i get the solenoid tested before i decide to buy a new one???How mucwould one run for?
