cuz right now my decks 180 watts so would that add significant power too? cuz i dunno how it all works. i dunno if the deck and amp add the wattage together to get to the 400 or something i dunno but its just the 200 watt amp is pretty cheap but i dunno how much watts the Lightning Audios r that i can get

:eek: Your running the subs off the deck. Yes adding an amp would be night and day. I would get an amp that is at least 400 watts by 1. 400 divided by 2=200 watts per sub and as far as the deck your getting 22 watts RMS most likely to each sub and are gonna blow the amp in your deck, then wont be able to run more mids and highs without adding another amp.

i was going for pure sq so i dont have any rear fill, to be honest i dont miss it at all. im much happier with the way it is now. but id have to say my boyfriends car takes the cake. it is as follows.

4 idmax v3 12's modded dual voice coial
4 arc audio 1500dr modded (1400 true rms)
1 arc audio 2500 also modded
1 arc audio 4150 modded as well
2 image dynamics idq 31's modded
1 idx24 active crossover
1 set id cd-1 pros (horns)-highs
4 7" seas excell magnesiums (2 in each door)-midbass
2 pair seas excell mag 5.25 in a kick

all done in custom fiberglass enclosures and modified door panels, it is a work in progress and a huge money pit:bloated: but it kicks a** !!!!!

oh yeah i forgot the apline 7995 hu and the monster cable balenced line inputs and the 4 batcap 400's and the bizilion layers of rammat in that beast.......btw its a 2001 grand am. i'll try to get some pics but the digicam is a bit*h.:D
