Taurus hit while parked, now won't start

i have a 2000 taurus (ffv) flex fuel vehicle:banghead:. yesterday somebody rearended my car while it was parked now it wont start i checked the spark plugs and they are firing i also checked if there was fuel getting to the plugs and there is i checked all the fuses under the hood and in the cabin and they are all good im losing my friggen mind here :runaround:

its got a safety switch for the fuel pump in the trunk it has to be reset

I agree that the likely culprit is the fuel pump inertia cutoff switch. Are you sure you have good fuel pressure?

yeah i checked the cutoff switch first it is still in the down position...meaning it wasn't tripped when hit.....if im correct when tripped the button will pop out and you'll have to push it in to reset it also i checked fuel pressure by pushing the fuel valve under the hood... any more ideas will help thx for the reply. and the grammar correction
