We purchased a Hyundai a few years ago. Satisfied with the vehicle. However, I am not overly happy with the fact that we must pay quite a bit of money in order to keep the warranty valid. We recently had to rotate tires and do other maintenance to the vehicle in order to keep the warranty going. This amounted to over 700.00 of work done on the car. What good is a bumper to bumper warranty if this must be done to keep it valid. i'm looking for a new vehicle now & am not finding this in other manufaturers warranty. Can someone explain this to me? billyk

You don't have to do the proper maintenance if you don't want to, but don't expect Hyundai to warranty those items if they fail due to lack of maintenance. This won't have an effect on electrical, and some other items, but if you aren't changing the oil, servicing the transmission or cooling system, you can expect Hyundai to deny any claims related to those items if they haven't been maintained.
