2000 Cavalier PLEASE HELP QUICK!!!!!!

yo listen, long story short, gotta 2000 cavalier,ordered a bodykit while i was overseas online while i was in iraq.told them i needed the kit to be for a 2000 cavy, everything was all good but the front end (bumper) was for a 95-99 version instead of a 2000.I heard thru the grapevine that if u change the corner lights on the 2000 to a 99 version, then the kit will fit.tell me is this true.really tryna avoid having to buy a whole new front end and spendin the extra money.shits kinda tight right now.can this be done,if so how?
