I need to replace the fuel pump on my 96 olds cutlass supreme.
do you need to drop the gas tank to do this?
does anyone know where I can obtain an exploded view of the gas tank assembly?

The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank and the tank must be removed to access the pump. You might try the online shop manual on the Autozone website, it might be helpful.
