01. Grand prix 3.8 ns. Can I just use a syphon pump to get old brake fluid out of the reservoir? If not best and fastest way to change out old fluid. I did front brakes the fluid is allblack

I bought the vacuum style brake bleeding system at I thing autozone. It was around $30 for the complete kit. Which you can do it with just 1 person. What I would do is empty the master cylinder of as much of the contaminated brake fluid. Then put new fluid in the master cylinder. Bleed the rear bakes first followed by the fronts. Start on the right side of the car first, it is the farest from the master cylinder. Keep bleeding until the fluid runs clear in the fluid catpure cup.

I started with the vacuum pump system and then went to the pressure-system which I feel is much easier to use*.
Pics here. Best advice is to use a 6-point socket or wrench when loosening the bleeder screw as this avoids any rounding issues.

* except on the truck style wide rectangular bowl...the adapter has lots of trouble sealing. The 3-prong Grand Prix master cyl is a snap to twist-on by hand.
