I want to purchase a good book with info/illustrations on the "tips and tricks/trade secrets" to detailing model cars (interior/dash, engines, etc). Do anyone have any recommendations? Even online sites with tips would be nice. Thanks.

To be honest, there are more great tips and tricks on the web than would ever be available in any book, you could also try magazines.

For tricks, you could start right here on AF and spread yourself from there, there are tons of great tips here.

Here is another 2 great sites for tips:
http://www.interlog.com/~ask/scale/tips/tips.htm
http://www.ninfinger.org/~sven/models/rms_tips/rmsfaq.1.html

Kalmbach Publishing Company (http://store.yahoo.net/kalmbachcatalog/) The parent company of Scale Auto Enthusiast Magazine has a few great detailing books available. I've gotten several of them from the local library when I got back into modelling as a diehard enthusiast. :)
