Photo Etch?

Well, I've received my GT Wing set from SAS Quite a while ago, but I'm still having trouble.

Well firstly, it's hard to cut the metal pieces off, what do you guys use.
Secondly, when attaching the photo etch to the resin, what do you guys use? I cannot get any type of glue to stick to it. Also, FOTW wouldy ou be able to post macro shots of your wing on a car so i can see final assembly a little bit better? Thanks

try either white glue or super glue to attach the parts. to remove the photoetch part, use a sharp #11 exacto blade on a pane of glass or somthing else thats hard and the knife wont cut into. you might want to put some tape underneath the part so you dont have little pieces of metal parts flying away.

use super glue to attach between metal and plastic, metal and resin, etc. also to cut them off, do what barnabei said and tape the sheet to a piece of glass, then use a X-acto #11 blade to cut. make sure the tape is over the part so it doesn't fly off. :)

For these parts, which are thicker than most othe etchted parts coz of what they replicate, you will need a pair of small wire cutters. You will then need to file off the remainder of sprue. to glue to the aerofoil, CA is the best option although you could use a 5min epoxy. To attach to the model, i prefer to use Kristal Klear which provides enough bond and won't damage the paintwork. Alternatively, you can use the sprue as a locating pin, as detailed in the instructions.
