Help!! Tail lights not working.

I have a 96 Suburban and I just noticed both of my tail lights are not working. Headlights, blinkers, parking lamps, and brake lights all work fine. My fuses are good. Does anyone know what could be the culprit?

I believe taillights, parking lights, and license plate light are all on the same circuit. First check the bulbs/filaments, and check the socket terminals for voltage when in "on" position.

I have had the same thing happen to my 98 twice. There is a ground wire under the rear just in front of the bumper near a corner. It is screwed to the frame or body panel. If it is caught on something or corroded and broken it will keep ALL taillights from working. Simply fix it and they should all come back on.
