just wondering if your supposed to put RTV sealant on an intake manifold gasket before installing?thanks for the help...didnt say to in haynes manual

No, but make sure that all of the old gasket is off.

aewsome,tnx for response...think something is warped now...small space after installing intake to cylinder head..maybe .004 inch gap between head and intake on number 1 cyl..bad stuff man...:eek7:.any suggestions?or am I on my way back to machine shop...just got it back,head warped..they fixed that now this crap...guess thats why they say measure twice,install once eh..
