My 2002 Bravada has no sound coming from the radio. It's as if someone has hit a MUTE button. The radio, speakers and amp have all checked out fine. The stations show up and CD's are shown and everything operates, just no sound coming out..

Any suggestions?

It's a long shot but sometimes electronic devices benefit from a reboot. Disconnect the negative battery cable for 20 minutes then reconnect and check your radio volume.

I'm sure to 99% if you change that for the sameone all was ok but if you bypass or change for another model you lose all warning sound and on star voice.

Let me know your progress

Thx

Did this come out of the blue or was there any other work done just before it happened?

All the speakers have a different feed but all use a common ground back to the radio (not a body ground). Since the stereo has a display you know the body ground for power is good so start by checking if the stereo ground is good at the plug on the back of the radio and check to see if you have a short to body ground. A continuity check from any speaker ground wire to a chassis ground point should be less than .03 volts.
