Dorman makes a cast iron replacement they last a lot longer.
Look on http://www.amazon.com/ search thermostat housing.
I think its Dorman 902-201

Can i not just replace the gasket instead of replace whole housing cause i believe there is nothing wrong with it

It depends on what's wrong with it a lot of the casings crack but I didn't look at the car.

i know i replaced the housing the gasket and the thermostat and it leaks in the same spot under the housing then onto the tranny so it needs to get replaced again

How about telling us how it went and what you found. Look at the link with pictures.

i found when took the first one apart the gasket on the housing was damaged and the housing was cracked the second was leaking in the same spot the gasket and housing was fine i went to my local ford dealer they told me the part numbers had changed for the housing so they told me it might be better than the one i had so i think i will try that and see what happens

Use adhesive to glue the gasket in place so it doesn't slip during installation.
The other side uses an o-ring per the picture.

I think I made a mistake the O-ring is the only one. Older Fords had a gasket.
