Normally i clear with 2k from zero. (the pre-thinned stuff)
But i dont have it anymore and only have the glass bottles that you have to mix for yourself laying on the shelf.
What mix ratios do you guys use? I've read somewhere that the instructions for mixing are not 100%.

Wow what great results with the clear and for your first time too. Is that straight over a semi-gloss black base? I like the colour combo too.

Thanks guys!
Decals are on, also sanded out some dust.
Here and there are some dull spots due to sanding but they will disapear during final clear coat.

Really like your weathering on the chassis. What technique did you use? Dry-brush?

Keep it up! :)

Nice job. You know when you've painted a car black well, when it starts to look like chrome :p Didn't think just applying clear over jet black would give such good results. But then I don't know how many clear layers you've put on.

Love the progress you've made. One thing I noticed though is that your chrome looks a bit dulled/grainy even though you had a glossy base. Did you apply it quite heavily/a few layers? I always use extremely light coats which gives me a good reflection but only when looking from certain angles .

Paint looks great and I particularly like the wheels........so what did you use to strip the chrome?

Tire:

Width 44mm.
Thickness 12mm.

Rim:

Width 28mm.
Thickness 12mm.

Is it good like this or do you need some more measurements?
