Code 155 is for 02 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 heater circuit problem.

Check fuse and power to and ground for heater circuit and plug in and wiring to sensor.

Cecked all the fuses and nothing what now? the weirdest thing is the BREAK light right side fuse under the hood in the big breaker box was blown seems like right sround the time the light came on

Check for 12 volts to 02 sensor heater.
If no 12 volts replace that fue and recheck for power.
Let us know what you find.

I looked in to replacing the sensor and they come in 2 or 3 wire 1. how do I know which wire to test? 2. do I stick a pin into the wire then test that way ? thats the only way i think I can get to the wire thank you so much!

Get a wiring diagram and.
Unplug sensor plugin and check for 12 volts and ground to the plug from vcm.
If good voltage and ground then sensor may be bad.
If the sensor is bad count the wires and replace it with one like it has on it.

OK Im back at it I just did the FUEL FILTER today thanks to you guys all is good back to the # 2 oxygen sensor Im thinking it's the ( DOWNSTREAM ) one after the CATALITIC CONVERTER and my guess is pull off the wire connector and test for 12 volts with a 12 VOLT LIGHT TESTER & I also have a VOLT METER if you think thats necessary but my QUESTION is its a 4 wire set up Im I looking for JUICE to all 4 wires or just 2 of the wires OR WHAT? remember the truck has 129,000 miles on it so im edging towards the sensor being bad but I just want to check THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ALL THE HELP HAVE A GREAT DAY OR NIGHT ANT.

Hello, I'm new here, but have a common issue with the 155 code now on. Please tell me how to ..."Check fuse and power to and ground for heater circuit and plug in and wiring to sensor." I have not much electrical experience, but would like to learn and fix this myself if possible. Hate to take the car to the General and bend over, if at all avoidable. Thank you.

OK this is what I can tell you on the DOWNSTREAM side just before the cat right under the back of the passenger seat you wil see the 0 2 sensor take that wire off there 4 wires in the female plug you have to test each one I think mine had two wires dead and 1 wire 12 volts plus but the 2 nd wire tested like .5 volts now I know thats not right WEIRD but my mechanic said with 120,000 mile on the s-10 if you replace the sensor the light will probley go off well it did not go off and now I have to bring it to him soon I WILL POST THE OUTCOME have a good one thanks

Where do I find the wiring diagram for A 2003 chevy S-10 V-6 VORTEC motor I tested BANK 1 SENSOR 2 and came up with 4 wires of which 2 were dead ( I guess ground and 1 12 volts plus and 1 at like .50 volts what next thank you ANTHONY
