2000 Silh won't turnover

I have a 2000 silhouette that won't turnover. I changed front brake pads friday morning and when I went to start it, nothing. I get full power but it won't turnover. No clicking or anything. I didn't disconnect anything when I did the brakes. I pulled the starter and had it tested at advance auto and it tested fine.

Can a starter test ok off the car but not have enough power when on the car?

Is there something that needs reset when the car is jacked-up?


Any other thoughts?

Check for power at the small purple wire at the starter. Should be 12 volts there with the key in the crank position. Also check the battery voltage both with the key in the off and the crank position. Should be around 12 volts.

Brand new battery. voltage at battery was 12.2V Checked at the starter earlier and was fine but will check again.
