The wheels are nice but not on this car :D So i had to replace them for an better set of wheels.
I think the 19'' TechArt wheels from ScaleProduction will look great on it.

The body will be painted Bright Orange and the wheels will be painted gun metal or flat black.

I also want to add things like seatbelts etc.

good luck with this one...painting that one piece motor/chassis is a pain in the a$$! It was by far the biggest hurdle with my 911 GT3. If I had to do it over again, I think I would try to remove as many of the built in components as I could without making the reassembly to difficult. By the way, I can't wait to see that baby in bright orange:naughty:

Yesterday I finished school so I don't have to study anymore, and now I've more time than ever for modelling.

Yesterday I immidiatly started with the Boxster.

First I removed the moldinglines and sanded the body, and also sprayed a layer of primer on it.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_001_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_002_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

With 28 Celsiuc degrees it's very fast dry, so I could paint the body in orange. After 4 coats it was enough.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_003_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_004_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_005_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_006_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

I checked the chassis for modification for the new rims, but I was lucky the wheels fit the same like the original wheels. So no modifications this time :)
I also paint the chassis flat black.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/body_007_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

Meanwhile I added a 3D Porsche badge on the front and added the boxster decals. I just finished the clearcoating an hour ago, so it's drying at the moment.

Today I clearcoated the body with TS-13 Clear.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/clear_004_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

I also found out that the rearwheels are different from the frontwheels... :D After months..... The rearwheels has deeper spokes than the frontwheels which seems to be straigt.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/clear_005_%28Medium%29~2.jpg

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/clear_007_%28Medium%29~0.jpg

The front needs some lowering but the rear is quite good. Maybe 1 or 2 mm is enough.

Today I made my decission about the wheelcolor. Flat black would look nice.

I painted them and added some 3D Porsche logo's in the centers.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/polish_001_%28Medium%29~6.jpg

I also polished the body and bodyparts. I started sanding with grit 4000 because the paintjob was smoot enough.

After polishing I painted all black details like: grille faces, windowtrims and other small things.

I also painted the airintakes and sidemirrors in flat black. I think they suit the orange color very well.

The frontwindow was glued and I also added the headlights and painted the rearlight background.

For the panellines I used a panelline marker. After using it I waxed the body one more time to remove most of the marker and what's left over is a smooth panelline.

Red/smoke or just simply red/clear. Dark optic ligths on front would fit well.

I mean the frontligths. The rearlights are red/clear painted, but the frontlights also needs to be painted.

I don't want to keep them clear because that looks weird because there is a area for the turnlights.

Because I want to finish this model before the 29th of august I had to work hard on this model.

First I did some work on the interior.

I flocked the interior with light buff interiorflocking from Hiroboy.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_004_%28Medium%29~6.jpg

Painted some details on the seats.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_005_%28Medium%29~6.jpg

I also flocked the undersection of the doorpanels. I also painted the speakers and the doorlights.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_006_%28Medium%29~6.jpg

I painted some aluminium accents on the dashboard. I also added some accesoires like sunglass and cd's. If you look good you also can see a carkey. On the photo's the dash looks a bit ugly painted but I swear if i say it's not vissible in real life.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_007_%28Medium%29~5.jpg

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_008_%28Medium%29~5.jpg

The steeringwheel painted, and added a 3D Porsche logo on it.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_009_%28Medium%29~5.jpg

the roll bar was painted flat black. After that I started with the seatbelts. I love that detail but it's very hard to get those tiny PE parts on the belt. After 2 hours it was finally done :)

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_010_%28Medium%29~5.jpg

And of course some dryfits

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_011_%28Medium%29~5.jpg

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_012_%28Medium%29~4.jpg

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_014_%28Medium%29~1.jpg

En toen was het interieur ineens klaar.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_020_%28Medium%29~0.jpg

I also did some work on the body which is almost completed now.

First I added new licenceplates on the rear and frontbumper.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_021_%28Medium%29~0.jpg

I also added the lights around the car. On the rear I used clear/red lights. On the fron I didn't paint anything except for the black trim around it.
The sidemarkers are also kept clear.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/interieur_021_%28Medium%29~0.jpg

And how should that interior look like under the body?
Let's see:

Now I'm gonna work on the chassis and finish the bodywork.

But first I'm going on vacation tomorrow the sunne turkey :)

Last update for this car.

First I finished the brakes and wheels. I added Scale Production PE brakes in front and original brakes in rear. I don't like big brakes in the rear so this was my solution.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/chassis_002_%28Medium%29~1.jpg

The chassis was painted and assembled. I modified it a bit for the wheels and lowering it want to achieve. After all i wheatered the whole chassis

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/chassis_007_%28Medium%29~1.jpg

The body is also finally done. I painted the sunvisors and added the wipers and polished the body again.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/chassis_010_%28Medium%29~0.jpg

Meanwhile it is completed. I'll make some photos tomorrow I hope, so watch the completed section guys!
