hi all! We just got a 1997 4runner and there is a power steering line leaking. we are having a real time getting the line off. even got a 17mm line wrench and it still doesnt want to come loose. Seems to be the return hose that is leaking. Anyone have any good ideas for getting these lines off??

If it's because you can't get the wrench in there properly, a 17mm crowsfoot flare wrench on a ratchet may work.

If you get get the wrench on but the nut is too tight, hook a 2nd box wrench on as an extension for more leverage.

Thanks. GOt them off. But now we can't find a new return hose. I did find the pressure hose and it is on it's way. But can't find the return hose. I have searched and searched on the web with no luck. Anyone know where we might find one????
Thanks!

Isn't your return line just normal hose held on by hose clamps? If so just replace the hose.
