What to Keep for the future

Not sure where to put this post but here goes.

I have two Chevy Blazers, I am in the process of making one good one from the two, one had a seized engine and the other a broken gearbox. I am nearing the end of fitting the good engine into the Blazer I intend to keep and was wondering what bits and pieces you all think I should strip off the unwanted Blazer in case of issues in the future. I will obviously keep the alternator, starter motor and various other engine related bits but I have heard of ignition switch issues and folding mirrors etc. I can't keep the whole vehicle but do have storage for a fair amout of bits. I live in the UK so getting parts isn't as easy as popping into my local auto centre and as Chevrolet haven't sold the Blazer over here since about 2002 even the dealers are an issue.
The two Blazers are 1999 models with the 4.3 V6 Vortec engine and the push button 4x4 system.
Any advise would be appreciated.

You want to keep any of those pesky hard to find dealer type items like the A/C compressor, all the window motors, Radiator, A/C Condensor coil, spare tire, Oil lines and even consider window glass.

Have had similar experience with having excess clone(s) to strip. Definitely keep all engine electrics, distributor and accoutrements, all sensors that have a wire going to them, O2 sensor, injectors & pressure regulator if not keeping the whole TBI, fuel relay, underdash fuses, and of course the main computer.
Catalytic converter, door weatherstripping, radiator, fuel tank (add gas stabilizer), grille, headlights & their buckets, taillight assemblies, as many tire/wheels as you have room for, & glean all the knobs, screws, bolts, nuts & keepers easily accessible.
A vehicle is a treasure trove of items, and what you don't use can be $old on eBay, a yard sale, or automotive $wapmeet.
Good luck!

I would keep the whole thing.
