Hello People,

Here is a BMW wich ran in 1977 in the DRM (Deutsche Rennwagen Meisterschaft) (that's before DTM) driven by Harald Ertl.
I made it in the Rodenstock livery.

It's actually a Lexan body from White Point (Germany) with a Plafit Chassis a Slot-It motor, ScaleAuto wheels and DiSo BBS Inserts.

I put some PE-parts on (find them) and did some weathering.

As there was no decal sheet available I used the Studio27 sheet for the Toyota Celica turbo and used a lot of variaty of other decals with sponsers etc.
The startnumbers were painted by hand.

That's awesome that it's a lexan bodied car. Kind of goes against the commonly held belief that detail and realism aren't possible with lexan. The car probably handles a dream too, right?

To be honest I don't know, because it only drove once on my home track.
I am building these cars more to put them in my showcase, and that they can drive you know.

Hey dude! Nice car! How much did you end up paying for the modification?

Regards,
Rebecca.

Hi Rebecca,

I guess something about € 120,- (that's somewhat $165).
