Tiiming chain has either slipped or snapped on my 94 with 2.2. All 4 exhaust valves are bent and need to be replaced, along with intake valves since one is chipped on the edge. I cant afford to really take it to a shop to fix the head, so I was wondering if anyone would be able to tell me what I need to do to fix the head, and tell if the valve guide spots are straight.
Also as far as getting the timing set right since the cam is in a different position than the crank, there are notches on the sprocekts, right? Just waiting on some bolts for the tool to remove the pully so I can get the timing cover off.
Pistons thankfully are fine, and havent been damaged by the valves, went quick enough I guess. Any thing else that I might be missing?
