Help! Surging and frequent stalling when A/C is on!

Hi all!
I have just developed an issue with my 2001 Rodeo V6, 4wd, manual tranny, appx 110,000 miles. When the A/C is on the truck develops some pretty aggressive surging and really low idling/ stalling when coming to a stop. Additionally it will stall sometimes while driving under 30mph. The A/C still blows cold but it seems that compressor will have bouts of frequent cycling, kicking on and off between fifteen and twenty seconds at which point the Rodeo will buck as is fitting its namesake. Other than that the car runs fine. It is possible I have an IMG leak. The car does show some of the symptoms- slight hesitation and touchy throttle until warmed up and very infrequent trouble starting. Could the Intake manifold gasket be to blame? I should also mention that the onset of the stalling and surging with the A/C happened quickly over the course of a week.

I'm going to clean the EGR (even though the tube exit at the TB looks pretty clean) and change the spark plugs. Any other suggestions as to what the source of the issue could be? Thanks in advance.

I'd start by removing and cleaning the throttle body and IAC valve.

Cleaned the EGR valve and tube, new spark plugs, new throttlebody gasket and cleaned the throttle body. Better. Very slight signs of surging with the AC on and the idle will sometimes sit at 1500 before settling down when I get off the gas. If I'm correct there's no IAC valve on the 200+. Any other ideas as to what to check? Thanks.
