Help me out here... '06 GTO
The plastic lining around the inside of the tear wheel wells is cracked and falling apart (guess I ran over something that snagged it?)
The part that is broken is the plastic piece that is on the rear side of the wheel well that mounts to the end of the bumper cover and wraps around behind the wheel to connect to another plastic piece at the back of the well.
That's about the best I can do for descriptions... but come on, there are only so many plastic pieces lining the wheel well.
I have been looking at diagrams on gmpartsdirect and haven't found what I am looking for... anyone have any ideas what the correct name is and where I can find a replacement?

Any GM dealer can get this part for you and has the pictures of all body components, this is usually called the rear fender well splash panel/shield.

Ya I figured the dealer would be able to look it up... I just hate dealing with them!
I tried searching for "splash shield" and various other names on the gm parts website and had no luck. I'm gonna take it off this weekend and see if I can find a part number on it.
I normally wouldn't even care about it... but the thing makes a bit of noise at higher speeds as the loose parts start flapping around :(

That number is usually not a part number but the suppliers number.

Just for the record, it was labeled as a liner. Stupid thing is $40.
