So i got to get a new heater core. I have the old one out with no problem and found the cracked pipe. So i have been to 3 different parts stores and the all seem to be tring to give me the wrong looking part. I bought one just to see if it would fit or if i was loosing my mind. The old one is plastic and make a cople of turns and the pipes end up even and at 90 degree angle to the firewall. The new one is aluminum (thank god) but the pipes squiggle out and hit the firewall at a 45 degree angle or so. I will pics pics soon but. I don't know if this is normal and updated or what. ( I know the plastic to alum is an update) Any help or advice would be greatly apperciated.

notice that on the aluminum one you can rotate pipes, don't worry it will work at first it looks like it will not fit but force the pipes to go the way they have to go and it will work trust me
