1995 intrepid 3.3 bad missfire

have a 96 intrepid pops back through the throttle body wont idle but 4 a min put in gear it dies unless ur lucky and keep foot on gas any help would be appricated

Sounds like the timing is off. The timing chain could have jumped one tooth. Maybe a Cam or Crank sensor. How many miles are on it? Is the check engine light on?
