I installed the AEM fuel rail and AEM fuel pressure regulator couple of months ago. And now I've found out that it's leaking cuz once in a while I would smell gas coming from the engine area. It is leaking(very little) from the fuel rail. I dunno know how to describe exactly where it's from but here's a shot. On the fuel rail right next to the fuel pressure regulator there's a brown or black screw that uses an allen wrench to screw it in. It's leaking from the screw. What can i do to take care of this. THANKS!

try applyin thread lock to the screw or maybe even that white silicone tape that the plumbers use.

I thought of silicone tape but is it ok to use that on the fuel rail? Would it melt?

Its actually more durable then you think.

Even if it does melt, you'll smell it for 5 minutes, and the melt will seal it up anyways. so its all good

what if it melts and clogs the injectors or fpr

what are the odds of the "melt" leaking that far down. if they even melt?

gasoline mets some plastics. teflon is a plastic (wel as a resin it is, i dont know about teflon tape), dont know if its affected by gasoline.

that far down? the injectors are right on the fuel rail...why is it leaking in the first place? did you lose an o-ring or something?

First of all, thanks for all the replies yall, greatly appreciated!
Well, to clear things up let's make sure that we're all talking about the same thing here. I took a snapshot of the problem. So, should i use the silicone tape or not? THANKS MUCH!

I don't think there's an o-ring that goes with that or maybe there is and i didn't put it in. Correct me if i'm wrong. Thanks.
