Here is my latest and last build until I move back home. It is Tamiya's Peugeot 307 WRC. For those who bad mouthed the kit, I think it is very good and went together great, I enjoyed this build, Tamiya did a great job with it, while a lot based it for being too simplistic, it was very easy to detail the interior.
I'm sorry I didn't put a WIP for the model but I didn't feel like taking progress pics.
here is the inside (many thanks to TVD, I used your build as a reference for wiring)
enjoy:

now onto the finished model, cause it is a tribute, I thought the only way to approach the build was to weather it, the car resembles the 2005 Rallye Monte Carlo in which Marko/Michael took 4th overall. (The weathering is as close as I could get to resembling the photos, there were only a few so it was quite difficult)

Tamiya Kit
Tamiya PE
Renaissance additive decals

For weather: I used the weather kits from Tamiya, its all about patience for those wanting to weather, take you time to build up the dust.
opps, I'm sorry I forgot about the turn signals on the side, I have already fixed the problem and painted them
comments and questions are always welcomed

Steve.
Looks good.
I agree with you, it was a simple kit but built up nice with room for easy improvements.

That turned out really nicely. The weathering is just the right amount, not over the top.

Very nice job. I have one painted but not built. The only disappointment is the chassis plate, but the interior is pretty detailed and actually has more separate parts than most of there kits. I have the etch set and tobacco decals for it and I am looking forward to building it. And hay it's a cool car to boot. BTW if any body is sick of Tamiya's prices for bright red try Duplicolor Chrysler DSC351 Flash Red. It's better and more durable, it's cheaper and in a bigger can.
Here is mine with this color(not rubbed out.)

to chris: hows the williams build coming, it looked like you were so close in being done with that and it looked great, did you get the lighting done on it.
to Pawlie:I looked at the photos I had and it was not a dirty rally, only dirt build up which made it alittle easier.
to 935K3: very nice, I just found the dupli-color Flat black for 99 cents a bottle, and works and goes on smoother than 6 dollar cans from Tamiya. I will prolly start looking more of the paints from them
to guiwee: there's also skyline threads but everyone posts separate builds. I made this more as a tribute to Park than building the peugeot, there should be no reason why I cant

Looks very nice, Steve! I also like the weathering... still haven't found the guts to do it on my own rally-models though :banghead:
