92 Z34 3.4L Stalling/Starting Problem

Alright, here's the scoop. Earlier this week we had one of the hottest and most humid days I've ever experienced in Missouri (99 degrees with a heat index of 110). It was on this day that my Z34 stalled 5 times on the way home from doing errands.
I got it home and noticed that the vehicle stalled when it returned to idle. The engine was actually able to run in park in idle for 20 minutes, but as soon as I'd push and let off of the accelerator, it would die. Someone else on a different forum had said that using fuel injector cleaner had worked for him on this problem, and so I used it. This seems to have helped somewhat, as now the car will start most of the time (albeit a rough starting idle sometimes). This morning I noticed that it starts easier and runs better when the engine is cold. I even managed to drive it around my apartment complex for a few minutes with no problems. Later this afternoon it was having problems starting without me pushing on the accelerator, and sometimes whenever I'd push the key into the start position, I wouldn't get any response. The gauges and lights on the dashboard were normal, but it's like it wasn't trying to start. If it backed off, took the key out, and tried again it would work most of the time.
Any ideas on what it could be? I've heard everything from spark plugs to fuel filter to ignition coils to O2 sensor.
