I've got a 91 F150 2WD with a 302. When I turn the key on I can hear the fuel pump cycle on and off, I've got pressure up at the test point on the engine, but it doesn't seem to be getting any gas into the motor.
If I hit it with a shot of starting fluid it will start right up and run for a couple seconds.
I'm not sure where to look, any ideas?

From what you say it seems you are getting fuel to the fuel rail, but not the injectors. If it starts with fluid you definately have a fuel starvation problem.
1. Check the ground wire connections for tightness. Check all the wiring and electrical connections for the system. Loose electrical connections and poor grounds can cause many problems that mimic more serious ones.
2. Check to see that the battery is fully charged and terminals clean and tight. The control unit and sensors depend on an accurate supply voltage.
3. Check the fuel injection fuse.

It ended up being the map sensor. I swapped it out and the truck took right off!
