SWAP QUESTION (One more time...)
MCLAY 90DX

Hey everyone
Got my donor car last Saturday and have begun to prep the motor for removal. I have to ask, once again, what I need to take from the Si (1.6) to make the swap to my dx (1.5). I know that I, and many others have asked this question before, but I am a bit concerned about getting things done right! I was going to take the harness from the Si but it was butchered when someone took out the distributor. Instead of removing it properly the individual snipped the wires where it joins onto the rest of the harness. Great if you were pruning a tree not if you are removing a distro. Anyway I need a distro too. I think I have found one for $100 Canadian at a local Japanese auto parts dealer.
While the engine is out on the stand, what should I look at doing beside the regular maintenance (plugs, wires, timing belt, water pump) and what performance upgrades should I go with while the motor is out?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
thks
Mike

I believe it is a D16A6. That is the stock motor for a Civic Si I think. Sorry I wasn't more clear in my original post, I am at work and always rushed...
