What up all?

Just checking in, see I haven't missed all too much.

Been MIA dealing with life's little issues, ie divorce, losing my kids, house, cars the whole nine yards to a wonderful cheater whom left me in a beater :lol2:

I'll try and do weekend checks as my life is nothing but work, work, work. :jerking:

I am soooo hungover and sore. Had a great time last night until this mammoth ass dude decided to get rough with his girl, and what deos my scrawny dumb ass do? Get involved and pop, re-broken nose, next time I need to pick a figth with a lefty :lol2:

Haha, sounds like a fun night...

My car still isn't running; no surprise there. Found out today that all the intake valves got bent when my oil pump locked up and jumped timing back in the winter... Definitely sucks for me...

Still in the same area? Some of the DSMers and I will be having a little meet up there August 1st and 2nd. If your not too far you should hit it up with us. Not sure how many are gonna show up though.

crow, there's a few members of that local forum that have a crapload of dsm parts, if you need stuff you should post a "want to buy" thread. You will more than likely get a hit for cheap.

I may end up doing that anyways if I continue having valve clearance issues. I may have to find a stock head again for my motor. :( Running oversized valves may have been a bad idea for me...

They just did an upgrade, last week I think it was, for the database. Think seem to be going pretty decent now that all the bugs are pretty much worked out...

This place really sucks now that it's dead. I haven't been on it much cause nobody is doing anything anymore...

everything came to a halt for me due to the failing economy. I work in manufacturing and that industry took a major hit. I went from 60+ hours a week down to 32. I'm lucky to still even have a job. Things have now since picked back up, but this summer has been written off as a loss. My poor fbody is sitting dormant awaiting a torque converter swap, which I have everything to do it, so cost isn't the issue, but workspace is. There is only one garage bay and the kit car is sitting in there with no motor or rear subframe. Waiting on more parts for that, that have been paid for, just not yet delivered.

You should feel special that people care enough to post anything in your thread. From the looks of things, not too many people get that...this place is D-E-A-D.

Still live and kicking.

Life has overall been........................interesting.

Been spending the majority of my free time helping out on a divorce forum, helping folks get through the same mess I was in, what not to do to protect your sanity, and keep yourself out of the looney bin, jail, or worse.

Been weening myself off that as I'm I get to feeling kind of bad because out of the thousands of people there looking for help and advice how not to become divorced, what to do while going through and after, I find myself one of the rare few that gets a second chance.

Yup, she came back, we're working on it. Kids are more screwed up than blind person after being on a tilter-whurl, but we're making progress over about 3 months now.

So, I'm going to try and drift my focus back here. Not going to to be able to do too much helping as I've been soooooo out of touch with the automotive world for the duration of what 2 and a half years. Hopefuly it'll be like riding johnboy and it will all come back. :boink: But, carwise, good news, I'll have the T/A again shortly, so I'll be working on that, ex-wife paid some bafoon moucho bucks to work on it and he didn't do a thing but mess it up worse. Bad news, My poor Exploder got demolished by some kid, it's fixable, with a lot of beer, sheet metal and a creative whit. And that happened a week after a had a heart blockage that caused a subsequent stroke-like condition. So now, I get to pedal around in a Cherokee, solid truck, but, man, soooo much slower than my Exploder.

Yeah, life's been great! lol.

good that life has been great. It feels good to get that second chance with someone that you love/loved so much. Its good to see people trying to work instead of giving up.
