I have a 98 rodeo V6 with 180k miles, this forums has helped me on many occasions so i need your help now with a BIG problem. My truck just pours gas out from directly underneath the engine when i start the truck. About two months ago i replaced the upper fuel lines directly connected to the fuel rails because of a leak so obviously i went back there thinking i must have did something when replacing those lines. But to my surprise it was completely dry. I took off the entire intake so i could get a good look at the hoses/lines and no leak at all anywhere. I connected the rails and turn the key on and still nothing completely dry up top. Underneath the truck there is a padded sleeve that the bottom lines come out of and everything is dry there also. I put everything back together again and truck starts on first try but sure enough multiple streams of gas comes down its dripping/draining off the bottom of the engine block just above the oil pan area, as if its coming down from somewhere between the firewall and the engine. I am baffled but as the truck continues to run the leaking slows dramatically. However, after the vehicle has set and starts again it pours out from under again, to the point it just wreaks of gas just getting close to the vehicle. Where could this be coming from. I really cant say i notice any changes in performance and there are no lights on. Please help!
