Hello,
I'm planning to build a Datsun 240z but I don't know which kit to build as i can only afford one.
Of the three i found available; Hasewaga 432R, Fujimi 240z-l, Revell BRE 240z, which one do you chaps recommend?
Thanks
Shonin

The Hasegawa has the nicest body/interior, most accurate appearance, but no engine. The Revell is pretty rough around the edges, an experienced builder can make it look good, but only with a lot of work...and it's only 1/25 scale which makes it look too small. I've only looked at a Fujimi briefly, it seemed okay, but the Hasegawa is a killer curbside, best appearance.

My thoughts on the 3 kits:
I've built the Fujimi kit with engine, and it was fun. The body is molded as 1 piece. The engine bay is very respectable. Comes with LHD and RHD dashes, and an extra set of huge Watanabe wheels/tires!
It does not have chrome parts, ie the bumpers are not chromed!

I'm building a Hasegawa kit right now and imho the body/lines are much more accurate and to scale. Chassis and interior detail are better than the Fujimi. The nose is a separate piece, and the hood is shut. The engine bay also does not have correct detail. RHD dash only.
I recommend this kit since it includes photo-etched emblems and great decals. Has chrome parts like bumper/mirrors!
The Revell kit is, like others said 1/25 scale. The body lines are too heavy.
The decals are terrible. I actually used this kit to help detail the engine bay on my Fujumi kit...it does have full engine detail...nice SU carbs.
That's about it!
