A/c - 1998 gv 3.8 - le

Hello, Just replaced my A/C compressor and for some reason the clutch engages and disengages every 10 - 15 sec also RPM is erratic. Is this normal when the A/C is off.

I believe the AC will cycle if you have the defroster on.

If everything is working normally I also think the defroster is on which runs the AC. The system sounds low on 134 or is contaminated with air thats where the rapid cycling comes from.
