Hello All!

What's up everyone? It's been a very long time since I've posted. Been very busy, but now I'm back. Last time I posted was back in 2001, when my '89 SE was just under 300K miles. Well, now it has 332K+, and still going strong! That's a Max for ya! Well, with so many miles, it's time for another one. So, recently I purchased a 2000 SE with only 33K. I love it! Well, I didn't trade in the old one b/c I didn't think I'd get anything out of it from the dealership (having so many miles and all), but I'm getting ready to put it up for sale (even though I'd HATE to part with it). It's in good condition, but may need a new fuel injector soon. A little rust here and there (WV weather is murder on cars...), but other than that, nothing wrong with the engine. Any suggestions on what price I should put on it? I'd appreciate any suggestions or insight. I've enclosed a pic of it. Later...

High miles kill max owners. I have 188,000 on my 97 max and it just kills me when trying to get $$ for it.

Welcome back WVMax, I thought you dropped off the face of the Earth.
The 2k is being reported over at www.maxima.org to be a more reliable and less likely to have problems than the 2k3/2k2, no MAF problems and such.
It's good to have you back in the family.

its done greatness for ya, but when someone sees that many miles, they gonna shake their head. Let it go for about 500 bucks to a poor college kid =o)

.

yeah, most of the problems associated with the MAF sensor problem are on modded Max's, so that doesn't really bother me. although the stereo cutout problem is a b*itch
