 Best computer animation of people, ever! I forgot it was animation while I was watching it... I'm totally pumped for Matrix Reloaded now...

Stephen King + aliens =

IMO, There are still only two "great" movies to come from Stephen King stories... Anyone want to guess? :D

Huh. I received a decent review of Dreamcatcher from a friend. But, I also know better than to doubt your movie picks, Jay :)

As for the Stephen King movies that were good... I'll guess The Shining and Misery.

I saw Dreamcatcher opening weekend. I liked it. A different twist though since the last few King books I read dealt more with an evil phenomenon....like in "It" and "The Stand" I REALLY liked The Stand, and have that on DVD.

The animation at the beginning kicked ass. At first I thought we got into the wrong theater :o

Dreamcatcher was poop. I hated it. And I'll agree that Stephen King stories do not make good movies (typically). I think it's more due to direction and screen-play though... Personally, I think that the Shining and Green Mile were the best, although the Shining had some piss-poor actors/actresses (the old black dude was pretty bad, and the guys wife was horrid).

But seeing the Animatrix after the previews for Dreamcatcher was spiffy neato. Good call Kat.

No love for Misery? I thought it was awesome.

Of course, Carrie, Misery and others can still be honorable mentions. ;)
