Does anyone know where I can get a set of these rims for BMW 3.5CSL Turbo? I got a Arii kit and the rims are not of the right size. I've bought a set of BBS 15' supposedly for M1 from Renaissance but the quality is quite disappointing. Any other sources?

House of Hobbies out in Burbank, Ca. have three or four sets (last i saw) of Aoshima BBS wheels. I tried looking for them online but it looks like they dont have them on their website. They are either this set or a set very similar to these:

They are silver colored and arent as deep dished as those pictures. I'd say they would be about 15 or 16s so if you want a low ride it would really be dropped.
I bought a set a while back but decided to build model differently and never used the set I had. I took pictures before selling them but it looks like I deleted them. The guys at House of Hobbies are pretty nice folks. Maybe they can give you their website link to pictures of the wheels they sell seeing as they sell a few sets of Aoshima and Pegasus wheels but I havent been able to find them on their website.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions. Converting a street version BBS to a race version is actually not a bad idea. I have to look for a closest match. Of course, it is a lot easier to use the rims from 320i. How come I didn't think of that?:biggrin2:

Hi
Just a note on the BMW 320 is 13 inch wheels and the CSL are 16 inch.http://www.usautoparts.net/bmw/models/vintage/batmobile.htm
Closest are 24NIDA 4 BBS 15 from Renaissance in the U.S. you can buy here:http://www.stradasportsstore.com/renaissance1.html

Thanks for pointing out the size difference. It looks to me that the rims in Tamiya 320i are oversized.
I actually have that BBS 15 from Renaissance. The quality of resin and rubber tire is very disappointing. In fact the tires are very poorly casted and utterly useless.
