I have a small leak on my A/C compressor. I had the dye put in and then a week later found freon leaking. There was not an aboundant amount of freon showing on the frame, so my question is can I replace the seals on the compressor myself without having the system to be vacuumed by a professional, or would it be worth a shot to buy the R134a with the sealing additive in it. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Welcome to AF!!
To answer your question the answer is no. Anytime you open the AC system it must be evacuated with a vacuum pump before you can recharge it. I would try the refrigerant with the sealer. Otherwise take it to a shop for repair.
