Carrier Bearing

I noticed a noise that sounded like my muffler was dragging & it got very bad quickly. I jacked it up & saw a bracket hanging that supports my driveshaft that I guess is the carrier bearing. One of the bolts was gone & the other was almost out. I tightened it up with the one good bolt with some loctite & had to use a similar machine bolt on the other side till I can get to the dealer. My question is, is it common for these things to come loose? Or is it more likely it was left loose when I had my clutch done about 4 months ago? I just want to know how closely I should watch it because I can't get to the dealer for maybe a couple weeks. Thanks
