Hello Gentleman,
Looking for the part number for a 180 degree thermostat that will work in a 3100/3400 motor. I've got a 2002 Grand Prix se. I figured you guys would be the ones to go to. Thanks in advance.

Most auto stores should carry a 180 though I believe the recommended temp for the V6 is 195. GM parts direct & rockauto.com would be good places to look for specific numbers.

Checked at GM parts Direct and # is GM 12622410 for a 180. Gm 24507563 for the 195.

Only autostore Ive found a 180 deg is autozone for around $10.
Part # 15898.
Napa, Car Quest, Advance, none carry the 180 deg.
PFYC carrys them too, but cost alot more and plus shipping.

Thanks guys! Problem is the 3100 GP se just blew its second round of LIM gaskets. I thought if I upgraded to a 180 stat it would help keep the motor cooler and maybe not blow LIM gaskets again.
Well, a week bofore I posted here, I swapped out the gaskets and put in the 180 t-stat (same as goodoldpapa's Part number) and for some reason the car was running hotter than normal. Not very hot, but a notch about 195.
So, I ordered a 180 stat from ZZP for a 3400 grand am and swapped that one in there. I also altered my fan turn on times with my powertuner. So far so good, the car runs at 180 now and best of all, no more LIM gasket leaks.
Thanks for the help!
