Just recently a lady backed into the front of my car. It hardly did anything, the bumper is pushed back about a half inch, and the turn signal lens broke. I'm pretty sure I should easily be able to fix the bumper myself and I can order a new lens. Heres the cool part, her insurance gave me $1,200. At first I was thinking a body kit. But I'm pretty sure I could just fix the front myself. I'm just curious as to what you all would do with the money. I already have a B16, exhaust, a dc header, an apex v-afc, and rims. and Its lowered. So i was kinda thinking start building a turbo setup, or maybe just build up the engine. But please gimme some suggestions cuz I may not be thinking of some things. Thanks.

I say you start piecing together a nice turbo setup with that money.

Get yourself a B20 block some burley Eagle rods and some Insane EnDyn pistons and a commetic head gasket and some ARP bolts... You will need a few other things and Im sure it will go over $1200... you could probably swing it and do a Nice job for about $2200... If you save $1000 you can slang the B16 block for like $300-400 bucks if its in good condition. You would end up spending only about $1800 or so and I imagine (depending on how hardcore of pistons you get) you could put down about 220-250 WHP IF done right.

Oh yea, I forgot to mention... This is using your B16A head to make an CRVTEC setup. These motors are VERRY reliable when properly done ;)

With this already said and if you arent willing to give up the b16 i would work on some suspension or build up a turbo kit.

I was told that the B20 blocks were very weak, unless you sleeve them.

You wont have any problems with them N/A. If you descide to turbo, you will need to have it sleeved... I am currently not a big fan of sleeves due to there failure rate.
If your gonna turbo, do it right... Dont do a half ass job that wont impress me. To accomplish this I would start with a Dart B18 or B20 which come overbored, use a twin turbo setup with two smaller turbo's 2 Tsuper60's will do the trick just nice ;) Then add a ITB setup and your gonna impress the socks off me :licker: These are my future engine plans for a car I dont have yet...

Or of course you could loan some money to me...My hands are always open for money. But yea with that money, i would go with a body kit.
