h23/h22 for turbocharging

right now, i'm saving up for a h22a engine into my accord. i want to keep all my options open for the future for potential (which is why i didn't just turbocharge my f22 for power). i have heard that h23's are better for turbocharging. what is the difference between the two engines, and why is it better for turbocharing? what are the specs of each N/A, and what kind of potential difference are we talking about here? any other related information would be very helpful. thanks for replies!

i don't really know, i guess people has there opinion on the h22 and the h23..but i say turbocharging a h22 is the way to go.

if you decide to turbo charge the h22a and you want to build the motor later on like pistons etc. you will need to get the block sleeved with ductile iron sleeves. this can be costly. where as the h23 already has ductile iron sleeves if i remember right?

Actually it's a matter personal preference. Any of the engines are fine for turbocharging.
The f22a SOHC/ f22b SOHC Vtec motors are the best. They're square engines, They're also the strongest. Least hp but better.
The f22b1 DOHC/ h23 DOHC/ h22a DOHC Vtec are very similar engines. the JDM F22b1 would be the best out of this bunch. But it's a very rare engine. The canadian/european f22b1 DOHC are very similar to a h23. These engines are very good all around engines. The h22a DOHC Vtec engine is prefered because it's a higher hp motor from the start. Since most people have limited knowledge in foreign engine building, they choose this engine. It produces more hp because it starts with more hp.
It's mostly your choice.

i've heard that the h23 is a "torquey monster" but the h22a and h23 have the same torque, why is that?

the difference can fall in a few places...
where the tq is at... is a major one...
they may have the same peak, but the h23 has more across the board, as far as i know...
i've heard from a few people that the h23 is better though, i'm not quite sure why...
but there's tons of turbo h22s as well, so...
