Hi

I got a problem with my enzo..

I painted TS30 Silver leaf paint and added Testor Clear coat (the good one) as far, it's not a problem... but when dry, there is 2 small hair on the hood. so I need to sand and repaint (Tamiya Paint over Testor clear coat.. don't even think doing that !!)

Is there a trick to remove the paint in the corner and hard small place ? I can remove 95% of the paint, but I really need to get rid of everything..

If I can stay away from stuff like Superclean or thing that hurt the plastic, I would apreciate

I would try an old toothbrush.. just try harder. But I know it's difficult to remove paint out of seams and corners.

the hardest part is removing the clear coat ! Pain't isn't very hard to get off and even if some paint is left, it won't react.. I only need to stip all the clear coat

Get some Mineral spirits, a toothbrush, and prepare to scrub really really hard..

I've never had any problems with CSC damaging the plastic even when leaving a body in it overnight.

ditto, i left in bodies for 1 week and the plastic is still good. might differ for different plastics, but CSC does the trick :D

Yeah. I'd use Castrol Super Clean Degreaser. It will remove the enamel clear coat, but not the Tamiya paint. I've never even had CSC mess with tamiya's paints. I'd leave it submerged in CSC for 1-2 hours and then use a toothbrush to get the stuff out of those small corners. Never use that toothbrush to brush your teeth again, and make sure you use some chemical resistant gloves whenever you mess with the stuff. You can also use brake fluid in the same fashion. Slightly more expensive, and it will take to back down to bare plastic again (although I've heard of it making the plastic brittle). HTH
