Coil over struts on ALL 4 CORNERS. Make sure you get adjustable camber plates in the car. The 320 front suspension had factory design defects that will cause "shimmy & shake" like an old VW bug with a bad steering damper! When the shocks got worn, you would hate to drive the car. Replace EVERYTHING you can on the front end with aftermarket parts. Then take it to a good BMW shop for an alignment. When I worked for BMW, this was our #1 complaint on these cars. That was followed by another factory design defect that would lead to the fuel system vapor locking in high temperatures as you would have here in Phoenix, Az. BMW had to add an extra fuel pump into the tank to pre pressures the main fuel pump to keep the fuel boiling in the lines as you sat in rush hour traffic on Central & Camelback roads! The main fuel pump lives right next to the exhaust pipe just above the hot asphalt road surface!
