Hello guys,
Newbie to the forum after reading a lot of pretty good info here. To the point:
I purchased a well used 1998 Olds Bravada with 188k miles, 4.3l Vortec in great shape for next to nothing and knowing it needed some work.
I just got done replacing all intake manifold gaskets and now the vehicle will not start. The motor will turn over about 10 degrees of rotation, then stops dead and I hear three very loud and fast BEEPS.
Both the anitlock brake and security lights comes on when the ignition comes on but it goes out right away. I get no system codes.
I have fuel and fire. The battery is good, with great lights inside and out. And for kicks I tried jumping it but that didn't to any good. I do not believe the vehicle has an aftermarket anti-theft kit on it.
I'm not a master mechanic but I've got pretty wide spread hands on mechanical experience and as such I kind of thought that this could be a anti-theft system issue because I pulled the battery - since GM is found of disabling their radios when the battery is pulled you know - but I could be wrong.
Any help you fellows could lend me is greatly appreciated.

When it stops turning over, is it a mechanical stop like the engine is locking up, or does the starter just stop?
