Whistling engine mount???

Whistling engine mount???
Is this possible??

Not sure if any of you are familiar with my ongoing "whistling noise at idle" saga..........
Any how today the whistling was driving me more nuts than usual.
I broke out a piece of 5/8" heater hose to use like a stethascope to pinpiont where the nosie is coming from.

You wont believe this but, its coming from the right side upper engine mount! I am 95% sure its coming from there. Is this possible??

I know the lower mounts are electronically controlled but the upper isnt. Is it still liquid filled like the others?

WTF???

Dump some thick gear oil into the area, that aught to shut'er up.

Has this happened to you? Did that cure it?

My brother in law's Ford Toerus squeaks all over, he just squirts it and that seems to keep'er quiet.
