oil leak

i have an oil leak that has been identified originally as the pan gasket. cost at dealershp was about 600 bucks. it is just a drip so recently the buick mechanic asks to try changing the drain plug to see if that could be the source. still leaks but not enough to move off the full mark between changes. any suggestions?

You can buy a lot of oil for $600. If that is all the worse the leak is I wouldn't do anything until it gets worse. Make sure to keep tabs on your oil level to make sure that the oil level is staying within the acceptable range.
