2 ohm speakers to factory head unit

I just got a 2006 Mustang GT with the shaker 500 stereo. I was thinking of upgrading the speakers but leaving the factory head unit. Will a set of 2ohm speakers hurt the stereo system?

hard to say ... some factory speakers are already 2 ohms
