I have a 88 K5 Blazer with a tbi 350. First I am Having problems starting after siting over night, it fires and then dies acts like a fuel problem, also after it does start if i ease into the throttle it revs up just fine, but if I mash the gas it spits and sputters and then revs up, also will not idle when cold, but after it warms up these problems go away, except there is still some hesatation in the throttle responce and untill get gets up to operating temp it spits and sputters going down the road.. I have replaced the throttle body and injectors, and the fuel pump sounds like its running strong. Thanks for any help you can offer. Forgot I also dids a complete tune up about a month ago

my truck is a 1989 K5 Blazer with the EXACT SAME problem, if anyone could help please share. Every morning and every after sitting for about 6 hours my truck will start and idle for a second or two and then shut off. If i start it right back up, it will start fine but repeat the prcoess until the motor warms up. If when i start it back up i rev it up a few times, or hold the pedal at a slightly higher idle (approx. 2K) for about 15-20 seconds the truck will usually idle fine after that but will still lack power while accelerating until it's warmed up.

oh yeah in my trouble shooting, i rebuilt my TBI with the gasket kits you buy at pepboys (all seals, o-rings, and gaskets, as well as a new fuel pressure regulator) and spayed down all of my vacuum lines (while the truck is running) with a can of starting fluid, but to no avail.
