as the title states, my wipers are possessed. whenever I have the key in a position where the wipers turn on mine turn on,.... even when they're set to "off". They kinda move a couple of inches and then go back, then they do it again without a pause. when they are in the delay mode, they do the full sweep, but they're is no delay at all. but they work like normal in "low" and "high".

here's a video if you don't understand what I just said

I just replaced the wiper motor with another one so i know that that's not the problem. I'm hoping that it's not the switch but I have no idea what else it could be. I really don't wanna have to rip apart the steering console but if that'll fix the problem then i'll do it.

any ideas? can anyone help me?

how hard is it to replace a wiper switch on a column that has an airbag?

If you swapped the motor and it still does the same thing, I would say the switch is the issue.
